      WATCH REPAIR<\/h2>\n

      Watchmaking is an art of high level and deserves to be acknowledged as such. At Tzougaris.gr, you will find a model watch repair and maintenance workshop. We have the latest equipment for cleaning, checking and adjusting watches that, combined with our experience, our skills and our love for watches, allow us to provide complete service for your watch. We always use genuine spare parts for all watches from all manufacturers (ROLEX – \u03a9MEGA – TAG HEUER – SEIKO – CITIZEN, and more). Our watch service is covered by a one-year written guarantee. We recommend that you have the mechanism of your watch checked at least every 5 years (especially for mechanical watches) to ensure that it is kept in perfect working order. The mechanism of your watch needs cleaning from time to time, depending on the use and operating conditions. Changes in the fluidity of the lubricant \u2013 the degree to which the lubricant dries out after a certain period of time \u2013 can create friction, which could affect the accuracy of the mechanism, causing it to run fast or slow, or to stop. Therefore, if your watch runs significantly fast or slow, the mechanism may require full service.<\/p>\n

      16-step complete watch repair<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. After removal of the bracelet or strap and the lid, the watch is placed on a demagnetiser
        \nwhere the watch is demagnetised.<\/li>\n
      2. The weight and the hands are removed, and a visual and technical examination is performed.<\/li>\n
      3. \u00a0The balance spring is removed and the watch is left to unwind.
        \nWe observe the movement, the way in which the watch unwinds. Additional adjustments may be required..<\/li>\n
      4. In the following step, we disassemble and carefully examine every component for wear and damage, repairing or replacing parts if needed.<\/li>\n
      5. All parts of the watch are placed in a container with clean gasoline for an ample amount of time. All components are carefully cleaned with a brush, dried on tissue paper, and meticulously examined. They are then placed in special containers and inserted in the ultrasonic washing machine for full cleaning.<\/li>\n
      6. After cleaning, the watch is carefully reassembled and all bearings and moving parts are lubricated.<\/li>\n
      7. The date disk is placed and the watch is adjusted to the current date. .<\/li>\n
      8. The bezel, the glass, the gaskets, the crown, and the buttons are removed from the case.<\/li>\n
      9. We repair the case from any damages, if this is deemed necessary.<\/li>\n
      10. The case and bracelet are placed in an ultrasound washing machine.<\/li>\n
      11. We reinstall the glass, the buttons, the crown and the lid on the case \u2013 with no mechanism inside \u2013 and the case is hermetically sealed.<\/li>\n
      12. The case is placed in a water tester under real water conditions. This way, we can locate any water ingress points.<\/li>\n
      13. Successful completion of all tests on the case and mechanism is followed by the final assembly step, during which the accuracy of the watch is checked in 5 different positions.<\/li>\n
      14. If deemed necessary, the watch is readjusted according to the specifications of the manufacturer.<\/li>\n
      15. The watch, hermetically closed with the mechanism inside, is now placed in a chamber (water resistance tester) with air (0,5-10,0 bar) in order to check its water tightness
        \n(Air ingresses more easily into a watch than water).<\/li>\n
      16. After completion of the service, the watch is placed on a machine that simulates the movements of the hand, where it will remain for at least one week in order to monitor the accuracy and any other problems that may arise.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
