In the dictionary the word jewelry means:
jewel <ancient greek jewel <κοσμέω / κοσμῶ Ουσιαστικό
apparel accessory that beautifies the appearance but often confers validity and the person who carries.
(in general) anything that adorns, beautifies.
This means that the way we wear jewelry can give it value and shine but it can also make it lose its value and destroy it. Daily use of jewelry & air pollution affect the shine of your jewelry. Here are some tips to keep your jewelry as it was when you bought it!
-Avoid to sleep with our jewels regardless of the value or durability.
-We remove jewelry from us when we want to use cosmetics, hairsprays, hand creams and even our perfume, in order to maintain their shine for a long time.
-We never wear our jewelry when we are going to do housework, gardening or even sports, because they will suffer due to their sensitivity to shocks or chemicals that may have various household detergents or even sweat. Any chemical and the sun can affect the metal and change its color & shine.
-When we do not wear our jewelry, we keep it carefully in separate boxes or wrapped in cloths. We never place them in boxes on top of each other because they will create marks and scratches.
-We never wear jewelry in the bathroom or at sea if we want to maintain their color and shine, remember that jewelry is not waterproof like watches.
-Generally, when you enter your home, we suggest that you take out all your jewelry and place them in their boxes separately. The reason you wore them (to adorn and admire you) is over.
We hope our tips help you keep your jewelry shiny, organized and safe.
